Introducing Sage Owen Linne

On January 5, 2012 at 8:42 p.m. EST, Sage Owen Linne entered the world, to the astonishment and joy of his grateful parents. He weighed in at a sleek 6 lbs. 4oz. From the moment he got here, he has lived up to his name, as far as having a low-key, seemingly thoughtful demeanor. He's been a very chill and relaxed baby- (except when he's hungry!) As you can see from the pic, I will teach him well what his proper sports allegiances should be. In other words, I'm teaching him how to endure suffering! But seriously, Blair, Sage and I are all doing well. It's already been quite an adjustment. I'm fighting to trust God's wisdom, goodness and provision in this season. Your continued prayers are greatly appreciated.

grace and peace,
shai

You? fighting to trust God's wisdom? Brother you have encouraged so many of us to trust God's wisdom in our lives, in your lyrics and in your life. Thank you for this. Be encouraged brother, you have a beautiful baby boy to teach the Grace of Jesus Christ to and raise a fine son in the Lord. All parents have the jitters. Imagine what Mary and Joseph must have felt being entrusted with the Holy One of God as a helpless babe, and they being so very poor. Know this sir, your brothers and sisters everywhere are praying for you and your family. Col 3:1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Don't trust your feelings sir, trust Him because He will NOT fail you, just as you have been singing these truths for us, they are also for you. God bless and know that you are being covered in prayer daily.~Susan Hamm

Oh, how precious and sweet! Very glad to hear that all is well with Blair and Sage and that you are pressing into our heavenly Father for daily wisdom and provision. Rejoice and find comfort in the fact that God's goodness and provision does not rest on our performance!

He is beautiful! By the way, your new album is amazing. And, we recently found out that our new pastor coming in two weeks to our little congregation in Mango, Fl, you served beside at a conference at Cornerstone Community Church...Brian Shealy. Glory to God. It brings great joy to see the Lord, the Giver of life working and blessing you, your family, and your ministry. Continue pressing into the kingdom and fighting the flesh, the world, and satan. Continue your fight against the current of the world and the temptation to conform to this world. 19 "Therefor, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus. 20 By a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hod fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:19-23. God bless you brother, grace and peace from all the saints at Cornerstone Baptist Church Orlando. :)

Congratulations Shai and Blair! Praise God for blessing you with Sage! Your Attributes of God album has truly encouraged my family to worship God. My son and my daughter always request your songs when they're in the car. Even my wife who did not like hip hop for many years enjoys your album. It's our urban poetic form of catechism as your songs spur us on to discuss the glories of our true and living God. Thanks for your encouragement to the body of Christ! We've been praying for you guys!

congratulations to both you and your wife! :) my husband and i became parents a year and a half ago and it was one of the most life changing things we've experienced, right after being saved and getting married. it was also probably one of the hardest things we've been through, but thankfully it is becoming a great joy to us, especially now that our son is older. through parenting God continues to grow us in patience and challenge us in our sin. i say all that just to encourage you that things will improve (sleep, time together, etc) and you'll look back on it a better man, thankful for the struggle. grace and peace to the linne family!

Congratulations! Love the name, and I hope God blesses him the way he has you and Blair. All Sage's gotta do is listen to daddy's albums and he's off to a terrific start.

Congratulations.I like his initials: they're pronounced "soul". Your music has helped me greatly in my spiritual life. My name is Nick Gehly, I'm 16 years old and I never really liked rap until I heard your music because there are little lessons in each of your songs about life and the Bible. I usually listen to music from the 50s and that kind of stuff. I always believed predestination and election but up until about a month ago, I wasn't living like it. In all honesty, I was an unbeliever at that time. But since then, I've been reading the Bible a lot to learn the word for myself. I just wanted to thank you for your work, and ultimately God for allowing the Holy Spirit to reside in me. Good luck with Sage, I'll pray for you and your family.
